Looking for Maintainers

I've been distracted by a full-time job, and other side projects and probably won't have time to fix the long list of bugs introduced by Proton UI for a while. If you would like to help out in any way, please ping me or open a pull request.

See wiki for more details

Acknowledgments

Some of the code, namely urlbar and popups CSS are slighltly edited versions of the ones from Material Fox.

All the icons are from Remix Icons

So I am using an older config for tst by you and wanted to do so too in a new setup. There seems to be the need for css in the userchrome though and I dont really know what exactly I need

Tree Style Tab has a default style on Windows

Hi, thanks a lot for providing your instructions and configs.

I do have a question, because it looks like Tree Style Tab doesn't have the expected look and behavior. Even with the custom css and config in json it still acts as a static panel, unlike the one shown in the examples. Is this a known issue?

    Hover configuration not working

After following the installation instructions from the wiki everything looks ok except the sidebar seems to be static even though I used custom-hover.css when configuring TST. Strangely enough, the bookmarks bar is now hidden and unhidden upon mouse hover but not the sidebar. Any ideas?

Icons are too far to the right

when using the configuration given the icon for the website barely show up on the right side. It maybe because I am using a smaller screened laptop or maybe because I am using GNU IceCat, but I'm not for sure issue

[Request] Option to make tab favicons full color / not washed out

Find it a bit difficult to tell between certain icons at a glance with them so washed out. Couldn't immediately see where to adjust this myself in the CSS

    Small Issues

    tempsnip

Hello, As seen in the photo:

    1. The button and part above the search bar has... sprung into existence, it wasn't there when I installed it, but I somehow messed something up and don't know which file, or what to edit.

    2. As seen in the drop-down menu, the right side it getting cutoff, how can I fix that?

    3. In the images I've seen, the icons have a halo/glowing effect to them, I've managed to disable the mask and bring back regular icons reading though the issues, but I how I apply iridescent ones?

    TST hover is not working

Everything else in the tabs works exactly as in the video, but when the cursor is removed the tabs do not hide. I imagine this is probably me doing something wrong in the install process since I'm fairly new to all this. I followed the instructions in the wiki to get to this point, and I have looked further into the readme files, but they just don't make any sense. I still have config.json unused, but the readme file says I need to use the import button in the extension options, but no such button exists. Please help?

This is with Firefox 86.0 btw

Improper css with default Firefox Theme

    Hi,

After updating firefox and the TreeStyleTab to the latest version. The complete CSS seems to be broken, I have tried reinstalling following the wiki however, it just doesnt seem to work out.

    Issues:

    1. As soon as the chrome and user.js files (downloaded from the releases) are pasted in the profile directory. the UI messes up.
    2. Even after loading the custom-hover.css , the sidebar remains static.

    Screenshots Screenshot from 2021-02-21 08-59-13

    Firefox Version: 85.0.1

Please let me know if I am missing something.

    Thanks

Style no longer works on new tree style tabs update

After updating to the newest version of tree style tabs, the tab style provided by this repo no longer works properly: tabs I believe this might have something to do with the "vertigo" theme being deprecated. However, implementing the recommended fix does not remedy the problem.

Bumps jsdom from 16.4.0 to 16.7.0.

    Release notes

    Sourced from jsdom's releases.

    Version 16.7.0

    • Added AbortSignal.abort(). (ninevra)
    • Added dummy x and y properties to the return value of getBoundingClientRect(). (eiko)
    • Implemented wrapping for textareaEl.value if the wrap="" attribute is specified. (ninevra)
    • Changed newline normalization in <textarea>s according to recent HTML Standard updates. (ninevra)
    • Fixed some bad cascade computation in getComputedStyle(). (romain-trotard)

    Version 16.6.0

    • Added parentNode.replaceChildren(). (@ninevra)
    • Fixed jsdom's handling of when code running inside the jsdom throws null or undefined as an exception. (@mbest)
    • Removed the dependency on the deprecated request package, in the process fixing several issues with the XMLHttpRequest implementation around header processing. Thanks go to @tobyhinloopen, @andrewaylett, and especially @vegardbb, for completing this months-long effort!

    Version 16.5.3

    • Fixed infinite recursion when using MutationObservers to observe elements inside a MutationObserver callback.

    Version 16.5.2

    • Fixed Access-Control-Allow-Headers: * to work with XMLHttpRequest. (silviot)
    • Fixed xhr.response to strip any leading BOM when xhr.responseType is "json".
    • Fixed new Text() and new Comment() constructors to properly set the resulting node's ownerDocument.
    • Fixed customElements.whenDefined() to resolve its returned promise with the custom element constructor, per recent spec updates. (ExE-Boss)
    • Fixed parsing to ensure that <svg>\<template></template></svg> does not throw an exception, but instead correctly produces a SVG-namespace \<template> element.
    • Fixed domParser.parseFromString() to treat <noscript> elements appropriately.
    • Fixed form control validity checking when the control was outside the <form> element and instead associated using the form="" attribute.
    • Fixed legendEl.form to return the correct result based on its parent <fieldset>.
    • Fixed optionEl.text to exclude <script> descendants.
    • Fixed radio buttons and checkboxes to not fire input and change events when disconnected.
    • Fixed inputEl.indeterminate to reset to its previous value when canceling a click event on a checkbox or radio button.
    • Fixed the behavior of event handler attributes (e.g. onclick="...code...") when there were global variables named element or formOwner. (ExE-Boss)
    • On Node.js v14.6.0+ where WeakRefs are available, fixed NodeIterator to no longer stop working when more than ten NodeIterator instances are created, and to use less memory due to inactive NodeIterators sticking around. (ExE-Boss)

    Version 16.5.1

    • Fixed a regression that broke customElements.get() in v16.5.0. (fdesforges)
    • Fixed window.event to have a setter which overwrites the window.event property with the given value, per the specification. This fixes an issue where after upgrading to jsdom v16.5.0 you would no longer be able to set a global variable named event in the jsdom context.

    Version 16.5.0

    • Added window.queueMicrotask().
    • Added window.event.
    • Added inputEvent.inputType. (diegohaz)
    • Removed ondragexit from Window and friends, per a spec update.
    • Fixed the URL of about:blank iframes. Previously it was getting set to the parent's URL. (SimonMueller)
    • Fixed the loading of subresources from the filesystem when they had non-ASCII filenames.
    • Fixed the hidden="" attribute to cause display: none per the user-agent stylesheet. (ph-fritsche)
    • Fixed the new File() constructor to no longer convert / to :, per a pending spec update.
    • Fixed mutation observer callbacks to be called with the MutationObserver instance as their this value.
    • Fixed <input type=checkbox> and <input type=radio> to be mutable even when disabled, per a spec update.
    • Fixed XMLHttpRequest to not fire a redundant final progress event if a progress event was previously fired with the same loaded value. This would usually occur with small files.
    • Fixed XMLHttpRequest to expose the Content-Length header on cross-origin responses.
    • Fixed xhr.response to return null for failures that occur during the middle of the download.
    • Fixed edge cases around passing callback functions or event handlers. (ExE-Boss)
    • Fixed edge cases around the properties of proxy-like objects such as localStorage or dataset. (ExE-Boss)

    ... (truncated)
