spicetify community themes

This is a collection of themes for spicetify, a command-line tool to customize Spotify.

You can add your own theme simply by opening a Pull Request (more info in CONTRIBUTING.md).

You can find a preview of all the themes in THEMES.md.

  • These themes require you to have the latest version of Spotify and Spicetify.
  • To install Dribbblish, Turntable and Fluent themes - follow the instructions in their READMEs.
  • Spotify ad-blocked version is not supported.

Installation and usage

(If you use Arch Linux you can find this project on the AUR)

  1. Clone this repository. Make sure git is installed and run:

    git clone https://github.com/morpheusthewhite/spicetify-themes.git
  2. Copy the files into the Spicetify Themes folder. Run:

    cd spicetify-themes
    cp -r * ~/.config/spicetify/Themes

    cd spicetify-themes
    cp -r * ~/.config/spicetify/Themes

    cd spicetify-themes
    cp * "$(spicetify -c | Split-Path)\Themes\" -Recurse
  3. Choose which theme to apply just by running:

    spicetify config current_theme THEME_NAME

Some themes have 2 or more different color schemes. After selecting the theme you can switch between them with:

    spicetify config color_scheme SCHEME_NAME

The _Extra folder contains additional resources for tweaking the look of Spotify. More info in its README.

We've set up a separate document for our contribution guidelines.

Do not open issues for general support questions as we want to keep GitHub issues for bug reports and feature requests. If you find problems when using or installing these themes, or you need help in modifying a theme then ask for suggestions on the subreddit or on the Discord Server.

Use GitHub issues ONLY for bugs and requesting new features.

If you are unsure about which channel to use, go for Reddit or Discord.

    [Dribbblish] Playlists not showing correctly

In the screenshots it seems like the big cover photos (see Jacob Lee image) of playlists and artists are much more high-res in your screenshots, than they are on my machine after applying the theme. Do you have any idea why that might be happening ? Apart from that I love the idea of the theme, great job !!

    Some Sidebar Icons Don't Load

Hello! some of the icons on the left sidebar refuse to load, but are still clickable. It might be that I'm using an older version of Spotify, I'm not quite sure. If you can't help me because of that, could I be pointed in a direction to make my own fix? Either / or works. image

Also, I dug into the code, found this: image That's probably what needs fixed, but I don't know how, I haven't been messing with Spotify long enough.

Also, if there's no forseeable fix, I can kinda just live with it, but fixing it is preferred :) Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for any advice thrown my way!

[DribblishDynamic] Fix some icons in the left toolbar.

Since we use a loop to update colors in iframes now, we can get rid of manually updating colors of hardcoded iframes.

    • Also fixed left toolbar icons for Reddit, Made for you and Recently Played sections.

Their positions (from the top) are in brackets:

      • Reddit (5th)
      • Made for you (7th)
      • Recently Played (8th)

    Color bug

Colors look weird and not like on the provided images, the "surroundings" of the main fg have the same color as the fg. I checked the color.api file and the colors were set correct there, but it looks completely different in my spotify. I followed all the steps on how to install and got no errors. This happens to all themes but I used the horizon theme in this image https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/76516169/103477614-dc4c9c80-4dc0-11eb-8172-8912a279d741.png

    Dribbblish looks broken

My Dribbblish broke after restarting pc (idk why), its positioning seems all broken, idk if it had some update after restarting.

I already tried: reinstalling spotify, reinstalling spicetify and reinstalling Dribblish, none of those helped

I would love to know if there is any fix thanks <3

Also if it helps, i enabled devtools and it gave me this error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'offsetLeft' of null
        at updateProgTime (dribbblish.js:157)
        at Dribbblish (dribbblish.js:172)
        at r (vendor~xpui.js:1)

pic of how it is (it is with windows controls since i reinstalled everything): aHxvqjf

Migrate all themes to new spotify ui.

All themes should be migrated to the new UI, in a roll-out type style.

As in, new branch, and then, in a few months, when the new UI is normalized - merge it into stable. This would mean people have time to migrate, and would also give the maintainers enough time.

If you have a Discord, I'd love to chat with you and about how I can help out. Just to get into some further details. I'll be happy to help out.

Album covers bugged, as well as various sliders and bars

Described in title, present in most themes. Been like this for the better part of a year, unless I've missed a solution somewhere? Spicetify is version 2.14.3.
