Selection not same across design system

Description

The ::selection property has background of #C423B2 for text in dark mode in Geist React, It would be best too keep the properties same across the design system.

Is the font-weight supposed to be 100?

I noticed that the font-weight for the buttons is 100 which is way too thin.

Is this on purpose or is it a mistake?
